How It Works

From first walkthrough to move-in ready.

Four steps designed to remove the stress that makes remodeling notorious: clear milestones, one point of contact, and a fixed price from the day you sign.

1

Free design consult

About 90 minutes in your home. We walk the space, talk honestly about budget, and tell you what is genuinely buildable. No cost, no obligation.

2

Design & 3D renderings

Our in-house design team produces renderings of your project. You approve layout, materials, and finishes on screen — before a single wall is touched.

3

Fixed-price build

Our own crew handles every trade — demolition, framing, electrical, plumbing, tile, cabinetry, finishes — against the number you signed.

4

Punch list & walkthrough

We walk the finished job with you. Everything on your punch list is fixed before we collect the final payment, and the 15-year workmanship guarantee starts.

Budget Transparency

What Denver projects actually cost.

Client Stories

Denver homeowners who built with us.

★★★★★

We hired Summit for a full kitchen remodel — moved walls, new island, custom cabinetry, the works. The project came in two days early and exactly on the quoted price. Their crew was at our house every day, on time, and left the rest of the house cleaner than they found it. Hire them.

★★★★★

I've worked with four contractors in ten years of homeownership. Summit is the only one where I didn't have to chase anyone or deal with surprise invoices. Fixed price means fixed price with these guys. Our basement went from unfinished concrete to a space our kids use every day.

★★★★★

Room addition projects scare most contractors — they involve too many moving parts. Summit handled permitting, structural engineering, foundation work, and every finish material in a single contract. We added a full master suite in 10 weeks. Couldn't be happier.

Common Questions

What Denver homeowners ask before they hire us.

What does a kitchen or bathroom remodel typically cost?

Kitchen remodels at Summit run $35,000 to $95,000 depending on size, materials, and whether the layout changes. Bathroom remodels typically run $15,000–$45,000, and room additions start around $95,000. Those are the ranges we publish on this site so you can self-qualify before you call us. After the free in-home consult you get one exact fixed-price number — not a range — and it does not move unless you ask for a change in writing.

How long does a remodel take?

A standard kitchen remodel takes 6–10 weeks from start to final walkthrough. Bathroom remodels run 3–5 weeks. Room additions typically take 10–16 weeks depending on permitting timelines. We provide a project schedule with milestones at the start of every job and update it weekly.

Do you handle permits?

Yes. Summit pulls all required building permits and coordinates every inspection. We're a licensed and insured Colorado general contractor and we work with Denver's building department constantly. You don't manage any of it — permit fees and inspection coordination are inside your fixed price.

Can I choose my own materials and finishes?

Absolutely. Our design team will walk you through material options and can source virtually anything — from specific tile lines to custom cabinet hardware. You make all final decisions on materials. We provide guidance on what holds up well and what we recommend based on years of Denver projects, but the choices are always yours.
